An active charitable foundation that has an involvement from the employees, employees’ families and board of directors that align with the company values of Gordon Brothers Industries. The charitable foundation would like to be able to touch peoples lives that need it the most while providing a positive workplace for the employees of Gordon Brothers Industries.
The charitable foundation, which is mainly funded by Gordon Brothers Industries, will make donations of both money and employees’ time to charities that have been recommended by employees and directors of the company.
Gordon Brothers staff will be participating in the Step For Sick Kids event with all donations going to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.Ronald McDonald House Charity supports sick children and their families with accommodation and other support services, The Goal is to keep families together when life gets turned upside down due to a child’s illness.
Gordon Brothers staff/Family and Friends will be participating in the Run Melbourne event with all donations going to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation. Peter Mac works to find a cure for cancer.
Gordon Brothers Staff will be participating in the Melbourne Coastrek 30km team trekking challenge in May 2019. The event will be raising money to restore sight through The Fred Hollows Foundation.
On 23rd May, Gordon Brothers staff will gather together over tea and treats, and help raise funds to support those impacted by cancer. Help raise vital funds for cancer research, prevention and support services.
Gordon Brothers staff will be fielding 2 teams in the Melbourne corporate triathlon in 2019. All donations made will go to The Smith Family. The Smith Family is a children’s charity helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.
